Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program

Ever wish you had a rocket scientist to help your business? The Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program offers up to 40 hours of free engineering assistance from NASA and alliance partners.

SATOP is available to any U.S.-based business or manufacturer with fewer than 500 employees. Requests should be focused on a specific project in one of these engineering disciplines:

  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Electronic
  • Manufacturing
  • Chemical
  • Materials.
  • Environmental
  • Industrial
  • Structural

SATOP cannot provide software, internet, or information technology solutions. The project must appear solvable with 40 hours.

Please be prepared to provide drawings, prototypes, or samples as needed, and be available to communicate with the Alliance Partner.
