Cellular Flow Manufacturing
Description: Participants will learn the principles of Cellular Flow Manufacturing and the class will apply the principles to a specified production line in the company.
This course has two parts: a one-day introduction and a three-day in-depth program.
The participants will learn how to link and balance manufacturing operations to reduce lead times, minimize work in process, optimize floor space usage, and improve productivity.

Prerequisites: Principles of Lean Manufacturing with Live Simulation or equivalent and Introduction to Cellular Flow Manufacturing
Goals: Participants will experience the benefits of implementing Cellular Flow Manufacturing. The class will learn how to reduce lead times, minimize work in process, optimize floor space usage, and improve productivity using Cellular / Flow Manufacturing techniques
Suggested Participants: Production and Production Support personnel from Materials Management and Purchasing, Scheduling, Quality.
